- 2 cups pumpkin, fresh cooked, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 stick Oleo
- 3 Eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Deep dish 9" pie crust

Cooking Instructions
To Prepare Fresh Pumpkin: boil skinned slices of fresh pumpkin like sweet potatoes until soft, then mash.
Combine pumpkin, eggs, sugar, buttermilk, oleo, spices, lemon, then vanilla.
Pour into pie shell and bake for 40 - 60 minutes.
Let cool for 1 hour.
Add Whipped Cream and serve |
